My problem is that I don’t know where to put the difficulty. I quickly quit the game after this realization and intend to begin it again on a higher difficulty setting. With the difficulty on the easiest setting I began to recognize I was not feeling tense based on how easy enemy encounters were, and as such was likely missing the point of the game. I understand the game is supposed to have a dark, tense, and isolated feeling to it. I did the same when starting Deadspace, which was all fine on my end until combat started to become present in the game. I normally play games on the easier difficulty settings to make them more enjoyable from the perspective of someone who plays games for the setting’s atmosphere. Due to Deadspace being free on origin I decided it was probably time to start franchise.
